Job summary

UTLX Manufacturing LLC in Alexandria, LA is seeking a Materials & Inventory Coordinator to support production by ensuring timely delivery and accurate receiving of materials. You will liaise with vendors, manage paperwork, and contribute to process improvements.

The role requires strong Excel skills, basic office administration, and a safety-conscious mindset to operate in a manufacturing environment. Prior inventory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree a plus.
• Experience in materials and inventory processes preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Excel for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct material is delivered on time to support production.
• Receive incoming materials and resolve discrepancies.
• Audit purchasing/receiving paperwork and resolve issues.
• Maintain good vendor relations and communicate effectively across locations.
• Generate reports using Excel; assist with office admin duties as needed.
• Support Continuous Improvement and Responsible Care initiatives.
