Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a warehouse associate in Fogelsville, PA to move, load, and stage printed materials and supplies. You will follow work orders, handle pallets, operate hand trucks, and help ensure efficient production flow.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification codes, and basic warehouse procedures to place or pull stock as per procedures.
• Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items per operating instructions.
• Able to complete forms related to stock description, quantity, and labeling for incoming/outgoing materials.
• Skill in using shrink-wrap and strapping equipment, powered lifts, pallet jacks, manual dollies, carts or hand tools used in material handling.
• May require skill in operating forklift truck.

Responsibilities

• Reads work orders or verbal instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.
• May feed, remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets, signatures, or other in-process product to/from equipment.
• Loads and unloads materials onto/from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand; may load into trucks.
• Conveys materials from storage to designated area using hand trucks or other devices.
• Counts, weighs, and records units moved on daily production sheet.
• Attaches tags or labels to materials and marks information on containers.
• Stacks materials into bundles using banding equipment.
• May operate automated equipment or forklift to assist in loading or moving materials.
