Job summary
Nordex has an opening for a Material Handling Operator in Iowa to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control. You will manage material movements, stock accuracy, and coordination with production and finance to ensure timely shipments.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED (bachelor’s preferred), 1 year of warehouse experience, and proficiency with Excel/Word and ERP systems. A safe, organized workspace and strong teamwork are essential.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with Word/Excel for data entry and reporting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems to update inventory records and generate reports.
- Strong reading and writing skills in English for documentation.
Responsibilities
- Accept deliveries and organize them in the warehouse.
- Supply production workstations with required materials per schedule.
- Safely load trucks for shipping and ensure correct quantities.
- Handle waste collection and transfer for disposal or recycling.
- Record all material movements in the ERP system, maintain stock data.
- Support monthly/annual financial reporting with inventory data.
- Monitor inventory levels, perform stock counts, reconcile discrepancies.
- Other duties as assigned.
