Job summary

Nordex SE is seeking a Material Handling Team Lead to supervise a warehouse team, ensuring efficient operations from receiving to shipping. You will streamline material flow, train staff, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, accurate inventory management, and collaboration across departments to meet production needs. A strong background in warehouse operations and crane/forklift experience is required.

Qualifications

High School Degree or GED required.
2 years of warehouse experience required.
2 years of Forklift experience required.
3 years of overhead crane experience required.
1 year of leadership experience preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems for data entry and reporting.
Strong English communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Material Handling Operators to ensure efficient daily operations.
Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and coach/onboard new teammates.
Maintain safe, organized warehouse with clear communication channels.
Oversee receiving, picking, packing, staging, shipping, and material flow.
Ensure accurate logging of materials in the system; support cycle counts and audits.
Uphold safety policies and PPE usage; ensure OSHA/HSE standards.
