Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk is seeking a Materials Handler for per diem shifts (7 AM–3 PM), including weekends and holidays. You will manage deployed inventory, perform replenishment, cycle counts and expiration checks, and work with unit management to load/unload supplies using the PAR system.

Responsibilities include picking PAR/adhoc orders, staging for delivery, and ensuring timely processing to support patient care. Prior experience in healthcare supply chain is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid NYS driver's license and ability to meet safety standards.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel; strong communication ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory in clinical locations using PeopleSoft PAR system.
• Perform replenishment, par level mgmt, cycle counts, and expiration verifications.
• Coordinate daily loads and deliveries to units; verify orders for accuracy.
