Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Distribution Attendant to perform order fulfillment and warehouse duties. You will load/unload pallets, stock supplies, and distribute items to nursing units and patient care areas in a high-demand hospital setting.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and experience with inventory systems and handheld scanners. This is a full-time on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with computerized inventory management and barcode handheld devices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate postal/material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receives, loads and unloads pallets and places them into racks, rotating stock by expiration date.
• Maintains inventory levels, restocks carts and replenishes par-stock for nursing units.
• Delivers supplies to care areas and secures necessary signatures for issued items.
• Operates pallet jacks, forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Performs data entry and cycle counts; reports discrepancies to supervisor.
