Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk is seeking a per diem Materials Handler to manage inventory in clinical locations using PeopleSoft PAR management. Responsibilities include replenishment, par level management, cycle counts, expiration verification, and daily loading/unloading of supplies for multiple units, seven days a week.

The role requires high school diploma, NYS driver's license, strong communication, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Picks PAR and adhoc orders from Clean Room according to MSR.
• Prepares inventory and orders for delivery; labels and stages orders.
• Delivers supplies daily to clinical units and loads PAR locations.
• Verifies counts, rotates stock and checks expiration dates for refilled items.
• Performs monthly expiration checks on all items in PAR locations.
• Maintains Central Distribution inventory and ensures FIFO compliance.
