Job summary

Qualifications

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification through company training.
• Experience in material handling, manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or warehouse environments.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, production orders, blueprints, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Back up the Material Handler by transporting raw materials, finished goods, and supplies using forklifts and related equipment.
• Support production, shipping, and warehouse operations through loading, unloading, staging, and relocating materials.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment or safety concerns.
• Assist with inventory activities including cycle counts and material tracking for accuracy.
• Monitor and adjust machines following established procedures; read work orders and blueprints.
• Record production, scrap, downtime, and inventory data accurately.
• Conduct quality inspections and report issues to improve processes.
