Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Oklahoma City, OK. Under general supervision, you will count, examine, weigh, and check incoming materials and supplies to support fabrication.

You will move material between departments by hand or with equipment, unload and load trucks, pack materials for storage, and keep the stockroom neat and accurate. High attention to detail is essential, with 1–2 years of receiving or stockroom experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy.
  • Count and weigh items to ensure correct quantities.
  • Prepare stock for fabrication and routing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and safe workflow.
  • 1–2 years of receiving or stockroom experience preferred.

  • Unload and load shipments as needed.
  • Pack materials for storage in crates/boxes.

Job description

Under general supervision, counts, examines, weighs, and checks incoming materials and supplies. Pulls material from stock in preparation for fabrication. Puts material away or delivers to requestor.

  • Move material to and from departments by hand or with available material handling equipment such as hand truck, pallet jack, cart, forklift, or hydraulic lift.
  • Put materials away and keep stockroom neat and orderly.
  • Count materials manually or by scale.
  • Pack material in crates and boxes for storage.
  • Unload and may load trucks.
  • Clean work areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What will help you thrive in this role?
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Ability to count and weigh materials, parts, and product.
  • Ability to use hand tools and drive forklift.
  • Attentive to details and accuracy.
  • One (1) to two (2) years previous receiving or stockroom experience in a manufacturing environment.
