Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a versatile Material Handler/Machine Operator to support the press department. This role will back up material handling and, when needed, operate injection molding presses and assemble products.

You will transport materials with forklifts, perform inspections, record data, and maintain safety and cleanliness. A forklift cert or ability to obtain it, plus experience in manufacturing and SAP/Excel is preferred; the schedule is Monday–Friday with

Qualifications

• Material handling, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and specs.
• Commitment to quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Backup Material Handler; transport raw materials and finished goods using forklifts and other equipment.
• Operate injection molding press and perform assembly when material handling is not required.
• Set up, monitor, and adjust machines per procedures.
• Read work orders, blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Accurately record production, scrap, downtime, and inventory data.
• Conduct quality inspections and report issues or deviations.
• Maintain organization and safety in storage, warehouse and production areas.
• Dispose of scrap and waste in designated containers.
• Complete daily forklift inspections and report safety concerns.
• Support production, shipping, and warehouse operations as needed.
