Job summary

Nordson Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our manufacturing team in Clinton, South Carolina. You will perform shipping/receiving tasks, verify inventory against purchase orders, and maintain accurate documentation in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include packing, labeling, and preparing orders for UPS and FedEx, operating a forklift safely, and participating in RMA processes when needed.

Qualifications

Summary of the role

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Attention to Detail: Required to minimize errors and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Perform quality checks on all outgoing and incoming shipments.
  • Reliability (Attendance, Task Trustworthiness): Must consistently adhere to work schedules. Must be dependable in carrying out responsibilities to completion.
  • Parts Order Pulling: Locate the correct parts based on the order details. Stocking kanbans.
  • Ensure proper pulling, packing, and labeling of parts orders for shipping.
  • Order Packing: Utilize spray foam and pre-shaped foam inserts to secure items in shipping boxes.
  • Ensure that all items are packed in a manner that prevents damage during transit.
  • Shipping Orders: Process UPS and FedEx domestic orders through the respective shipping software.
  • Ensure that all packages have correct labeling and postage before dispatch.
  • RMA Receiving: Unpack returned items and verify their condition.
  • Initiate the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process in the system.
  • Receiving: Receive supplier deliveries and verify against purchase orders.
  • Inspect the condition of received goods and process them into inventory.
  • Forktruck Operation: Safely operate forklifts for the movement of large and heavy items

Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.Basic understanding of shipping/receiving/warehouse process and previous lift truck experience preferred

Warehouse Technicians typically work in a manufacturing or production environment. This may involve working in a factory or warehouse setting to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
