Overview

CAES by Honeywell Mission Systems is seeking a Materials Handler. You will support stockroom materials requests by withdrawing parts from inventory, bagging, tagging, issuing to kits, and routing them to the appropriate work centers or departments. This role is vital for supporting the production floor to ensure assemblies are made and delivered on schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Perform sorting, counting, packaging, and labeling of materials as required.
  • Support stockroom requests by withdrawing parts, bagging, tagging, and issuing to kits or engineering.
  • Route and deliver kits or parts to designated work centers or departments.
  • Analyze inventory conditions, report damages, conduct cycle counts, update systems, and perform data entry.
  • Track shelf life, report into planning, and handle expired materials.
  • Participate in safety training, maintain 5S standards, and suggest improvements.
  • Engage in Lean/Six Sigma activities to enhance processes.
  • Collaborate in team meetings and activities.
Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 0-2 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Must be a “US Person” due to export control laws.

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Material handling experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

We are interested in all qualified candidates eligible to work in the U.S. We do not sponsor visas.

Compensation

Materials Handler I: $15.68/hr. - $21.97/hr.; Materials Handler II: $17.64/hr. - $21.97/hr. (varies by location, education, experience).
