Material Operator I

The Material Operator I is responsible for tasks involving physical labor in a manufacturing plant. This role requires operating various hand and power tools. The Material Operator will ensure the efficiency of products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies to maintain profitable business operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver raw materials to production lines as needed
  • Operate with ERP system to manage raw materials
  • Handle material issues to minimize losses caused by line shutdowns
  • Perform all activities with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Able to work on continental shifts
  • Experience with SAP and ERP systems
  • Electric Pallet Jack experience
  • Inventory control skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience in production or materials in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to complete the responsibilities listed above
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail in all work areas
