What you’ll do:

1. Package, label, and load product for delivery to internal departments and/or customers.
2. Record quality and output measures and complete necessary paperwork.
3. Perform duties under general supervision following standard work procedures and guidelines.
4. Check material for defects before packaging and weigh finished products to ensure high quality.
5. Collect finished products and pre-pack at wrapping/banding/bagging stations.
6. Manually load packaged material onto pallets, skids, and boxes, and secure for transport.
7. Pull and stage materials to meet production demands.
8. Place sleeves on vacuumed rolls for final packaging.
9. Label packaged carpet pad rolls appropriately.
10. Operate related production equipment safely.
11. Record quality and output measures and complete paperwork.
12. Maintain a safe and clean work environment through housekeeping.
13. Perform other duties as required.
14. Use PC and department-specific database systems as needed.

What you have:

1. Ability to read and write in Standard English.
2. Basic math skills such as addition and subtraction.
3. Preferred experience in a warehouse or as a general laborer.
4. Good communication skills for effective interaction.
5. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
6. Standing for more than 2/3 of the time.
7. Ability to lift 80-100 lbs repeatedly.
8. Must be at least 18 years old.
9. Dependability, positive work habits, and good attendance.
10. Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, and twist freely.
