Job summary

Schneider Electric in El Paso, TX seeks a material handler to support continuous production flow by supplying materials to assembly lines, performing kitting, and tracking inventory in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, using forklifts or hand trucks when required, following safety and quality procedures, and maintaining accurate log records. Basic computer skills and ability to read blueprints are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass the Work Keys Assessment.
• 0-2 years’ experience in material handling environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• May be required to operate scissor lift or cherry picker.
• May be required to certify in PIT equipment.
• May be required to read and understand blueprints.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous supply of materials to production/assembly areas.
• Perform Kanban-based kitting to ensure parts are available at point of origination.
• Pick parts from inventory and place into storage bins; maintain correct quantities.
• Support Water Spider stocking at appropriate levels.
• Operate forklift or hand truck for delivery or picking as needed.
• Inspect parts for damages and report discrepancies.
• Document material movement using computer tablets and log inventory.
• Maintain a safe and healthful working environment per OSHA standards.
