Job summary

Titan International, Inc. is seeking a Materials Flow Manager to oversee planning, scheduling, procurement, inventory control, receiving, shipping and storage for tire production.

You will ensure uninterrupted production by aligning material availability with complex multi-stage processes and optimize inventory and supplier performance. The role requires a bachelor’s in a related field and 5+ years in materials management in manufacturing, with strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and APICS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in materials management within a manufacturing environment (tire, rubber, or chemical preferred).
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
• Experience managing bulk raw materials and complex supply chains.
• APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP).
• Knowledge of rubber compounding processes and material characteristics.
• Lean / Six Sigma certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, scheduling, procurement, inventory planning/control, receiving, shipping, storage, and flow of direct and indirect materials.
• Align material requirements with production schedules using MRP/ERP systems to minimize line stoppages.
• Develop scheduling systems and procedures to optimize plant throughput.
• Lead warehouse and logistics operations for bulk and hazardous materials.
• Oversee supplier performance and strategic sourcing to improve OTIF delivery.
• Mitigate supply chain risks related to volatile raw materials through safety stock planning.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to ensure material compliance and traceability.
• Monitor KPIs such as inventory turns and production disruptions due to shortages.
