Generac Power Systems in Jefferson, WI is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee end-to-end material flow for production. The role focuses on improving cycle counts, inventory accuracy and on-time delivery while guiding a materials team and coordinating with quality, purchasing and production to resolve issues.

Expect responsibilities in warehouse operations, ERP usage (SAP), and staffing to support production needs in a full-time onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of materials leadership.
• 2 years of experience leading teams, developing people or organizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely material flow within the facility and timely delivery for shipments.
• Develop and implement standard processes to improve production efficiency.
• Lead, supervise, and direct materials staff development through training and coaching.
• Manage and optimize daily warehousing operations including staging, cycle count, and storage.
• Oversee inventory management and control, accuracy, and guidelines.
• Ensure efficient materials presentation to support production operations.
• Collaborate with Quality, Purchasing and Production to address issues and KPIs.
• Maintain strong communication between planning, purchasing and production for customer satisfaction.
• Lead and improve material/inventory management practices including Barcode/RFID and Fill Rate.
• Maintain staffing levels for daily material management and act as SAP SuperUser within the area.
