Job summary

Gorilla Circuits is seeking a Material Coordinator to orchestrate procurement flow, ensure material availability, and manage movement across production and warehouse sectors. You will work with Purchasing, Planning, Production, Quality, and Sales to keep materials accessible and aligned with schedules, resolving issues like long lead times and obsolescence.

Responsibilities include inventory integrity, PO progress tracking, and data reporting to support production planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Business, Operations, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years in materials, inventory control, or manufacturing preferred.
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel knowledge (XLOOKUPs and nesting formulas).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BOM component availability and movement using Excel and Outlook.
• Review schedules, BOMs, and material requirements for needs.
• Monitor material availability to support production and customer delivery.
• Identify shortages and communicate constraints to Purchasing, Planning, Production, and Customer.
• Expedite materials when necessary and follow up on open POs.
• Verify BOM components on hand before releasing work orders.
• Investigate discrepancies and participate in cycle counts and inventory.
• Identify excess/obsolete inventory and assist with disposition.
• Ensure special handling, traceability, and storage controls are followed.
• Maintain accurate material documentation and transaction history.
