Job summary

Water SpiderElectroswitch Switches and Relays in Weymouth, MA is seeking a full-time Water Spider to ensure uninterrupted production by staging materials, tools, and resources at the point of use. This role supports TAKT-based operations and requires the ability to stand/walk corridors, lift up to 50 lbs, and maintain a 5S workspace.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, basic math skills, and familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or vocational training required.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read blueprints/work instructions and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Point-of-Use Tracking: monitor and replenish materials to keep the line supplied.
• Standard Work Execution: follow a timed route to match production schedule.
• Waste Mitigation: remove scrap and waste to maintain a 5S workspace.
• Production Support: assist with tool/material staging and cover during shortages.
