Job summary

VanTran Industries, Inc. is seeking a Materials Runner (Water Spider) to support production by ensuring workstations are continually supplied with materials, tools, and components to minimize downtime and maintain an efficient workflow.

You will deliver materials to lines, replenish stock at workstations, and coordinate with production, warehouse, and quality teams while following 5S, Lean practices, and safety standards to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials and supplies to production lines.
• Replenish inventory at workstations and remove finished goods and scrap.
• Maintain material flow to prevent production interruptions.
• Assist with inventory transactions using barcode scanners or ERP systems.
• Follow 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and quality teams.
• Report material shortages, damaged inventory, or safety concerns.
