Job summary
Associates Systems LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Materials Coordinator to oversee movement, storage, and distribution of materials to support manufacturing, service, and shipping. You will manage inventory transactions, stage materials, receive and inspect parts, and coordinate domestic and international shipments, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
This role requires familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and shipping software, plus a mechanical mindset and hands-on warehouse
Qualifications
- Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, or material coordination.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and shipping software.
- Knowledge of shipping procedures, freight carriers, and logistics coordination.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the flow of materials between receiving, warehouse, production, and shipping areas.
- Stage materials, kits, and components for production and service activities.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, ERP transactions, and stock audits.
- Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming materials and parts.
- Support shipping activities including packaging, documentation, freight coordination, and shipment scheduling.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers, vendors, and customers.
- Maintain material traceability and proper documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and shipping regulations.
- Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, or material coordination.
