Job summary

ConMet's Chillicothe, OH facility is seeking an operations leader to direct warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory control to ensure production never misses a beat and customers receive on‑time deliveries.

You will align inbound, in‑plant, and outbound flow to production schedules and customer demand, protect inventory accuracy with cycle counts and FIFO, and lead a safety‑driven team focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years in materials, warehousing, or logistics within manufacturing.
• Prior leadership/supervisory experience (preferred).
• Working knowledge of inventory control, warehouse ops, and ERP (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Align inbound, in‑plant, and outbound flow to production schedules and customer demand.
• Protect inventory accuracy with cycle counts, location discipline, and FIFO.
• Reduce logistics costs by optimizing carriers, freight, packaging, and shipping processes.
• Build a safe, skilled, performance‑driven team.
• Partner with Production, Purchasing, and other teams to guarantee material availability.
• Elevate safety, quality, delivery, and performance through continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, EHS standards, and customer requirements.
