Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Six months to one year of material coordination or inventory control.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is a plus.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite flow of materials between departments.
• Review production schedules and determine material requirements.
• Establish delivery dates per job priorities and material availability.
• Verify material conformance to specifications.
• Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet schedules.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and drive root cause.
• Maintain manual or computerized records of material status.
• Operate forklift or learn to operate; support shipping needs.
• Monitor and control movement of material through Plex ERP.
