Job summary

Relyans Max. in Michigan is seeking a Material Handler to manage the material flow from receiving to production, ensuring parts are available when needed and adhere to safety and quality criteria.

You will stock machines, stage and store parts, oversee scanning and FIFO processes, coordinate with maintenance and logistics, and support continuous improvement of internal logistics. The role requires attention to detail, communication, and the ability to work across shifts.

Qualifications

• 5 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills with ability to talk with employees at all levels, customers and drivers.
• Computer (MS Office) and SAP experience is required.
• Ability to solve problems and work under pressure while supporting machine operators.
• Forklift and Raymond licenses required after successful training and ability to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines in the assigned department are stocked with all parts needed to run.
• Stock and put away parts after a run to prevent mixing.
• Scan washers to machine and move to PROD when delivered to machine.
• Maintain FIFO and keep WIP organized, reporting issues promptly.
• Coordinate with Technical Quality, Customer Service, Warehouse and MRP.
• Follow stock/status sheets and support continuous improvement of internal logistics.
