Job summary

American Rheinmetall in Plymouth, MI is seeking a Kitting and Materials Coordinator to manage cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and lineside parts support within our defense manufacturing operations. You will coordinate with production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and maintain data integrity in inventory systems.

Proficiency with Plex ERP and strong attention to detail are required; forklift certification is a plus as this role involves occasional material handling and safe

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in heavy military assembly and/or vehicle assembly is preferred.
• Experience with assembly on Commercial Vehicle platforms is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cycle counts and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain inventory data accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Aid in kit building to provide lineside parts for daily operations.
• Use ERP systems; Plex knowledge preferred for reporting and analytics.
• Ability to operate a forklift as needed.
