Job summary

CIRCOR International, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Expeditor to drive on-time delivery of purchased materials and support production and customer commitments.

The role connects Procurement, Planning and Supplier Quality, ensuring accurate delivery status, identifying risks, and communicating with suppliers. You will maintain ERP/MRP data, escalate issues, and support Buyers and Production Control to improve supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, expediting, or production planning
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Epicor, Oracle, IFS, Infor, Dynamics, or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office tools
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both internally and with suppliers
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Execute Supplier Follow-Up & Delivery Management: Perform routine follow-up with assigned suppliers to confirm delivery dates and ensure adherence to purchase order commitments.
• Identify and escalate delivery risks: Flag late or at-risk deliveries and communicate impacts to Buyers, Planners, and Production Control.
• Maintain Accurate Supplier Delivery Status: Ensure data accuracy within ERP systems related to supplier commitments and delivery performance.
• Support Supplier Communication & Accountability: Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned suppliers regarding delivery status and updates.
• Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders: Work with Planning and Production Control to align material availability with production schedules.
• Support Expediting Standard Work & Process Discipline: Follow established expediting standard work processes, tools, and communication cadences.
• Assist in Supplier Performance Tracking: Support tracking of supplier delivery performance metrics.
• Support Program & Compliance Requirements: Ensure supplier deliveries meet required documentation and compliance standards (FAR/DFARS, etc.).
