Job summary

Terracon in Oklahoma City seeks an entry-level Field/Lab Technician to assist with testing and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will document findings, communicate with the Project Manager, and support safety and quality standards.

Requires a high school diploma, 6 months experience, and a valid driver's license. Certification in ACI and Nuclear Density Gauge is required within set timelines or preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
• Nuclear Density Gauge certification preferred within 6 months of hire.
• ACI certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Successful completion of related internal safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist on field and laboratory testing and observations under supervision.
• Provide clear documentation of findings and results.
• Communicate data accuracy to Project Manager for submittal.
• Submit documentation and communicate results as directed.
• Maintain and operate/clean equipment and vehicles.
• Drive a vehicle to project sites and adhere to safety rules.
• Support quality standards on all projects.
