Job summary

EPIC Piping is seeking a detail-oriented expeditor to facilitate material flow for projects. The role involves daily expediting, weekly reporting, and close collaboration with Procurement and Material Management teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely spool releases.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in expediting or related fields and proficiency with J.D. Edwards and Microsoft Office. This position emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in expediting/material management or related field.
• Experience with coordinating with multiple departments and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Expedite project materials daily and maintain professional supplier relations.
• Maintain and submit expediting reports weekly.
• Obtain and forward packing lists, Bills of Lading & MTRs to receivers.
• Coordinate activities with Procurement, Material Management and other leads.
• Assist in resolution of MDRs (Material Discrepancies).
• Work with supply chain to prioritize material delivery to maximize spool releases.
• Attend project meetings (internal or client).
• Assist procurement.
• Maintain proactive approach to assigned tasks.
