Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science or related field; Master's/PhD preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of Materials Engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of engineering metals, alloys, and refractory materials.
  • Experience with material characterization and surface evaluation techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with SEM, EDS/EDX, XPS, AFM or similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership on material selection and compatibility.
  • Perform characterization and microstructure analysis.
  • Lead or support structured failure analysis and root-cause investigations.
  • Collaborate with design teams, suppliers, and quality groups throughout product development.
  • Present data and recommendations to engineering teams and management.
