Keystone Powdered Metal Company in St. Marys, PA is seeking a full-time Materials Engineer to join the engineering team and support manufacturing across facilities. You will troubleshoot material issues, lead testing programs, and work closely with the VP of Engineering.

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering or Materials Science and at least 5 years in the powdered metal industry. Strong communication and computer skills are required, with proficiency in MS Office and data reporting.

Competenze

• BS in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or equivalent; minimum 5 years in the Powdered Metal industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot material issues across facilities.
• Lead testing programs and interpret results.
• Triage part contamination, heat treat oil contamination, and related material concerns.
• Enter test results in MS Access or Excel and prepare reports/charts.
• Develop understanding of Keystone’s mixes and processing parameters.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize heat treat processes and equipment.
