Job summary

Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, seeks a Quality and Standards Lab Supervisor for its St. Marys, PA location. You will report to the Quality Manager and lead the QA and Standards Lab operations.

Responsibilities include overseeing lab personnel, coordinating training, supporting production with process techniques, and ensuring compliance with quality systems. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year technical degree or equivalent experience is required for this position.
• Familiar with IATF 16949.
• Possess excellent written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain operation and personnel of the Quality Assurance and Standards Lab at the St. Marys facility.
• Identify and assure follow-up of internal quality problems.
• Coordinate training of various lab personnel.
• Assist Engineering, Tooling and Production Personnel in developing and evaluating Process Techniques and in developing related Test Procedures.
• Ensure lab personnel are technically competent to provide analysis for support of production.
• Coordinate the completion of quality and engineering submissions (PPAP, etc.).
• Act as a knowledge resource for testing equipment.
• Assist all facilities on tool inspection and storage issues.
• Maintain Production and Quality SPC Systems.
• Identify and implement opportunities for data interfacing.
• Identify and develop innovative ways to inspect product.
• Evaluate current and existing gaging for accurate part inspection.
• Participate in Customer and 3rd Party audits.
