Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science-related field is required.
• 3 years of related lab experience is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills is required.

Responsibilities

• Define reliable test protocols for incoming materials/resins/products and material experimentation.
• Perform testing on instrumentation such as FTIR, DSC, TGA, Instron, injection molding.
• Analyze data and prepare accurate lab reports with charts and images.
• Develop and implement new test methods for material characterization.
• Serve as technical liaison between ORBIS cross-functional teams and suppliers for material projects.
• Plan and execute project work with limited direction.
• Guide and support other lab personnel as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering, manufacturing, and customers.
• Contribute to continuous quality process improvement initiatives.
