Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a materials testing specialist to define protocols, run tests on FTIR, DSC, TGA, and Instron equipment, and deliver detailed lab reports with charts and images. You will develop new test methods and act as a liaison between cross-functional teams and suppliers to advance materials initiatives.

The role requires a BS in a science field, 3 years of lab experience, and proficiency with SAP and Excel. Travel up to 10% and a safety-focused environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science-related field required.
• 3 years of related lab experience and proficiency with Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of roles.

Responsibilities

• Define reliable test protocols for incoming materials and experiments.
• Perform testing on FTIR, DSC, TGA, Instron and related equipment.
• Analyze data and write lab reports with charts and images.
• Develop new test methods for material characterization.
• Serve as technical liaison between teams and suppliers for materials.
• Plan and carry out project responsibilities with limited direction.
• Coach and support other lab personnel as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering and manufacturing.
• Engage in continuous quality process improvement activities.
