Job summary

Envista Forensics in Columbus, OH is seeking motivated Materials Engineering students for a summer internship. You will gain exposure to forensic and consulting engineering, including technical research, report writing, site inspections, and milestone projects.

This paid internship runs May 2027 through August 2027, with mentorship from Team Leads and potential transition to a full-time role after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing 3rd or 4th year in Materials Science or related engineering.
• Master’s student preferred; Columbus, OH area.
• Available for Summer internship May 2027–Aug 2027.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical discipline to conduct in-depth research on ongoing cases.
• Contribute to investigation of incidents: collect evidence, document site, photograph areas.
• Work with Team Lead to write reports based on findings.
• Travel to required locations for site inspections.
• Set up and run test projects; distill data into usable information.
• Assist consultants with marketing and related work as needed.
