Envista Forensics is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering student for a Summer internship (May 2027–Aug 2027) to gain exposure to forensic and consulting engineering. You will participate in technical research, report writing, site inspections, and milestone projects with coaching from Team Leads.

Based in Chicago, IL or Columbus, OH, you will work 40 hours per week in a paid internship with potential to transition to full-time after graduation.

Formación

• Ideal candidate is in an accredited Electrical Engineering program (3rd/4th year or recent graduate).
• Strong foundation in engineering principles and mathematical reasoning required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; comfortable with data analysis.
• Self-motivated learner who collaborates well with a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to a team environment.
• Cooperative and flexible in attitude and manner.

Responsabilidades

• Apply technical discipline to conduct in-depth technical research and analyze pricing, specs, and repair options.
• Assist with site inspections, evidence collection, and documentation.
• Co-author reports based on investigative findings with team leads.
• Travel to required locations for site inspections, trials, or client meetings.
• Set up and run test projects and distill data into actionable information.
• Support consultants with marketing and matter-related work as needed.
