Job summary

• Administer and operate warehouse processes including receiving, storage, packing and shipping of materials.
• Audit and account for all materials in stores facilities and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving to optimize space and flow of goods.
• Ensure proper maintenance of facilities and equipment and adherence to procedures.

Job Description:

Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. Accounts for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities; audits goods received into warehouse. Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space. Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.

This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. The job requires a basic understanding of work routines and procedures in own discipline. The technical procedures for this level are well defined. The job works within well-defined procedures that may involve a variety of work routines.
