Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Procurement, or related field; or Associate's Degree with two years of applicable experience; or High School Diploma/GED with four years of applicable experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in Supply Chain, or related business experience, including experience in a Material Coordinator Associate or similar position.

Responsibilities

• Review material requests to determine cost effectiveness of fulfilling orders from Suppliers or inventory.
• Monitor open material requests and purchase orders to identify material for expediting or alternate sourcing.
• Monitor daily inventory reports for exceptions.
• Train others on the Materials Management system as needed.
• Serve as a liaison for the central Materials Management team and provide feedback on inventory strategies.
• Review Materials Management processes and recommend improvements.
• Monitor metric results and take corrective action to meet Supply Chain goals.
• Buy emergent material during the scheduling process for Cook Nuclear Plant.
• Prepare and report on Procurement Engineering, Receipt Inspection and material holds (Cook Nuclear Plant).
