Position Details

Title: Materials Coordinator

Reports to: Project/Prototype Manager

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage the receipt of material.
2. Establish, track, and maintain material and tooling locations.
3. Distribute material for prototype and production work orders.
4. Complete disposition of obsolete material and tooling.
5. Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly.
6. Communicate with other departments as necessary.
7. Adapt to changing tasks with little or no notice.
8. Read drawings and BOMs to determine component requirements for assemblies.
9. Follow all Quality and Environmental Management Systems, supporting VOSS Automotive Mexico as applicable.
10. Participate in plant recycling programs.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED; at least one year of related experience or training.
2. Strong knowledge of Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft Office programs.
