Job Title: .NET Core Contractor – Payment UI & Backend (PCI Compliance)
Location: Chevy Chase, MD
Work Type:Remote
Duration: 3 months
Pay Range: $70 - $90/Hr

Overview:

• We are seeking a seasoned .NET Core Contractor to help enhance our payment UI and backend components to meet PCI DSS compliance.
• A key part of this work will involve modifying our existing payment flow to integrate with Chase Page Encryption, ensuring secure transmission of sensitive payment data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Modify and enhance the existing payment UI and backend to integrate with Chase Page Encryption.
• Ensure full compliance with PCI DSS standards throughout the payment experience.
• Collaborate with security, DevOps, and QA teams to validate encryption, conduct secure deployments, and support rigorous testing.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to overall architecture and security improvements.
• Produce clean, maintainable code and relevant technical documentation.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in .NET Core / C# for backend development.
• Frontend development experience with HTML, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Prior experience integrating with payment encryption solutions, preferably Chase Page Encryption or similar.
• Strong knowledge of PCI DSS standards and secure software development practices.
• Experience with REST APIs, secure form handling, and data protection.
• Experience in working with relational database management systems, preferably Oracle and SQL Server. Must be proficient in writing SQL Queries
• Sensitivity: Company-Internal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous involvement in achieving PCI compliance for online payment systems.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and secure deployment workflows.
• Solid understanding of application-layer encryption and key management.
