Gap Inc. is seeking an AP Specialist to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors at their distribution center. The role involves managing physical security, inventory auditing, and supporting investigations. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners to uphold company policies and safety protocols.

Responsible for protecting the assets of the company and ensuring a safe environment for our DC employees and visitors.
The AP Specialist has a thorough knowledge of Gap Inc. policy and procedures.
The AP Specialist works closely with AP Shift Coordinators and above to perform duties that directly support the core supply chain AP responsibilities of physical security, safety, inventory management, auditing, and investigations.
The AP Specialist demonstrates knowledge of DC Operations and develops relationships to increase AP awareness, maintain operational excellence and minimize shortage within their assigned area of responsibility.
The AP Specialist also serves as a primary point of contact with the public (e.g., visitors, emergency services, law enforcement, and other government officials).
Ensure a safe and crime-free environment for DC employees and visitors. Maintain & manage controls which include: Access Control Points, Physical Security / Fire Safety / Equipment and all related Systems & Administration. Protection of all company assets: People, Property & Product.
Support safety and business continuity – assist with all campus emergencies, including fire, safety & medical, and severe weather-related events. Responsible for contacting emergency services and site coordination.
Participate in shortage reduction programs through inventory auditing and system-related functions.
Support AP investigations and research, providing accurate reporting and case management. Apply and use all applicable investigative tools and ensure administrative compliance. Maintain confidentiality in all related matters.
