Our client is seeking a Materials Control Specialistto support procurement and supply chain operations within a fast-paced industrial environment. This role will partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure materials, purchasing activities, and procurement documentation are accurately managed to support business and project objectives.
This opportunity is well suited for recent graduates, early-career professionals, or candidates with experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, materials coordination, accounts payable, or related operational functions.

Responsibilities:
- Support bidding and sourcing activities as needed.
- Assist with supplier communications and issue resolution.
- Maintain procurement records, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Create and process purchase requisitions and receipts within an ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support reporting and general supply chain administrative activities as assigned.
- Respond to supplier and internal customer inquiries regarding procurement activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, project teams, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor purchase order status and delivery schedules to help ensure business needs are met.
- Support procure-to-pay activities, including requisitioning, receiving, invoice resolution, and purchasing administration.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work onsite in Tulsa, OK five days per week.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Oracle or other ERP systems.
- Internship, co-op, or professional experience supporting procure-to-pay processes.
- Education in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, energy, utility, construction, engineering, or similar operations.
- Familiarity with supplier coordination, invoice resolution, procurement documentation, and purchasing workflows.
- Exposure to procurement, purchasing, accounts payable, supply chain, materials management, or related business functions.
