Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Materials Control Lead to oversee warehouse operations, coordinating a team of 6–10 employees in a cGMP environment. You will manage receiving, shipping, and inventory control while partnering with Manufacturing, QC, and Planning to meet production timelines.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and strong cross-functional collaboration to resolve operational challenges and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 1 year of relevant experience; Associate’s with 3 years; High school with 5 years in materials management, warehouse operations, or logistics.
• Experience with cycle count programs and inventory audits.
• Experience with warehouse leadership and safety practices.
• Familiarity with cGMP environments and Good Control Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse activities including receiving and shipping of materials.
• Coordinate team workload to maintain operational efficiency and schedule adherence.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and cycle count variances.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support production and materials planning needs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within materials management processes.
• Ensure completion and compliance of all GxP and safety training requirements.
• Support SOP revisions, deviations, and Good Control Compliance activities.
• Monitor and ensure timely completion of departmental work orders.
