Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Materials Management Warehouse Senior Specialist to oversee warehouse operations and inventory logistics for its cell and gene therapy sites in Boston and Cambridge. You will lead MSPs handling material receipt, inventory control, kitting, and issuance of materials, and supervise pack-out of drug products.

The role requires strong knowledge of ERP/MES systems, cGMP compliance, and an ability to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences, supply chain, engineering or related field.
• 2+ years’ supervisory or team lead experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in materials management within cGMP pharma/biotech.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations and inventory logistics for cell and gene therapy sites in Boston and Cambridge.
• Lead MSPs in material receipt, inventory control, kitting, transport and issuance of raw materials.
• Ensure compliance, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation; support serialization and drug product pack‑outs.
