Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) seeks an entry-level Inventory/Material Control specialist onsite in the US. You will coordinate material receipt, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper allocation to production and engineering projects.

You will conduct physical counts, resolve shortages, and assist with vendor returns and process improvements. Prior inventory experience and SAP familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience preferred.
• Strong inventory control practices and shop-floor coordination.
• Proficiency with inventory/stock control software (e.g., SAP).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates receipt of incoming materials and checks against docs.
• Monitors inventory, restocks, and tracks shortages or back orders.
• Performs physical inventory counts and investigates discrepancies.
• Delivers materials to production areas and coordinates with QA.
• Maintains confidentiality and complies with safety procedures.
