Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is seeking a tool room associate to receive, store, and issue tools, fixtures, and other equipment for local and deployed locations.

You will maintain inventories, assemble tool kits, and ensure accurate distribution and tracking across sites. The role requires two years of related experience, familiarity with SAP/SharePoint, and the ability to work second or third shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in issuing and maintaining tools.
• Customer-focused with knowledge of inventory/stock control software.
• Familiar with material handling equipment and hand, machine and measuring tools.
• Able to work independently or in a team; willingness to work additional hours.
• Shift flexibility: second and third shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and issue tools, fixtures, dies, measuring devices, materials and supplies; support local and deployed locations.
• Assemble and upgrade tool kits; maintain accurate distribution and tracking.
• Maintain database of issued, damaged, or missing equipment; order replacements.
• Manage shop supply inventory and procurement of required supplies.
• Maintain government property records and calibrate measuring devices as needed.
• Handle hazardous materials in accordance with laws and procedures; ensure safe handling practices.
