Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), a world leader in remotely piloted aircraft and surveillance systems, seeks a warehouse/stock clerk to manage materials through inspection, stockroom, and production.

Under supervision, you will perform manual duties, track orders, and assist with shipments. You will coordinate with planners to issue parts, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of material control concepts and stockroom procedures.
• Customer-focused with ability to identify deviations and analyze data.
• Good organizational skills to manage workflow.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of computer operations, word processing and spreadsheets.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and monitors inventory and work orders; ensures traceability of material.
• Coordinates with departments to support materials requirements.
• Monitors/restocks inventory on the shop floor to maintain levels.
• Updates daily movement of parts and back orders for timely delivery.
• Delivers materials as required for designated production areas.
• Reviews material requisitions to ensure proper allocation.
• Performs physical inventory counts and investigates discrepancies.
• Assesses received items for quality and conformance to procedures.
• Transfers vendor shipper paperwork and handles damaged or excess goods.
• Maintains confidentiality and complies with laws and procedures.
• Works safely following operating procedures; performs other duties as assigned.
