Job summary

AUTOKINITON, located at the Elkton, Michigan plant, is seeking a Materials Planner to manage inventory transactions and master scheduling. You will maintain records, set up label printers, and drive process improvements across the materials function.

The role requires collaboration with Quality and Finance, plus strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to support a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in materials.
• Strong computer skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to take ownership and work with accountability.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Team player with collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Make adjustments and communicate adjustments to Finance; enter into QAD.
• Update tracking spreadsheets accurately.
• Oversee inventory transactions and report on the master schedule.
• Maintain inventory records and timely receipts in the system.
• Set up and maintain auto-label printers.
• Develop and implement new processes to improve efficiency.
• Partner with Quality on materials and quality systems.
