Job summary

American Rheinmetall Vehicles is seeking a Material Coordinator to join the Manufacturing & Engineering teams in Michigan. The role focuses on kitting inventory, picking and issuing material to assembly stations quickly, and returning items to inventory while resolving discrepancies.

You will collaborate with assemblers, engineers, and the Materials team to ensure same-day material flow, accurate records, and organized kitting across multiple work centers.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory kitting, picking, and issuing.
• Ability to resolve material discrepancies.
• Familiar with Plex IAM roles and Plex material processes.
• Forklift operation and certification.

Responsibilities

• Queue and kit incoming material per MBOM/Bill of Process.
• Pick/issue material to assembly work centers the same day.
• Reconcile returns into Plex Inventory.
• Maintain accurate material counts across centers.
• Create and manage jobs in PLEX Job Manager.
• Organize materials for multiple work centers.
