Job summary

AUTOKINITON in Greenville, SC is seeking a Materials Planner to join the plant Materials Team. This full-time role focuses on releasing raw materials, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring timely procurement for production. You will monitor supplier delivery performance and support production scheduling with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in materials/leadership role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Experience with Material Planning / Releasing.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge / experience with QAD preferred.
• Inventory management, BOM and cycle count experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Release raw materials to suppliers accurately.
• Review coverage reports to ensure material availability for production areas.
• Manage weekly truck schedule.
• Plan and schedule production.
• Maintain raw material inventory receipts and timely entry into the system.
• Monitor delivery performance of raw material suppliers and trucking companies.
