Job summary

Majestic Steel in Houston, TX is seeking an entry-level Warehouse/Production Associate. You will review order instructions, label and package materials to required specifications, and use micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment to ensure quality.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate data entry, and teamwork with the production crew to meet daily goals. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimal manufacturing/warehouse experience acceptable.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review order instructions and package materials to meet specs and quality standards.
• Operate measurement and packaging tools safely (micrometers, calipers, tape guns, banding).
• Identify and report quality issues; follow safety guidelines and PPE usage.
• Collaborate with production crew to meet goals and perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Pay: Starting rate is $17.75/ hour; could be eligible for more based on experience
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM with overtime as required

What You Will Do:

• Package Materials: You will review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Operate Equipment Safely: Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment.
• Maintain Quality and Safety: Identify and report any damage or quality issues and advocate for safety by adhering to guidelines and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Support Team Efforts: Work collaboratively with production crew to meet assigned goals and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required
• Skills:Strong attention to detail, ability to operate assigned equipment safely, and effective communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds; mount & dismount equipment; capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time; and be comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions
